Thread Starter | Any mastering/mixing engineers in NYC/Westchester area need a studio to work at?
I work at and help run a studio in Mt Vernon NY. It was originally built as a mastering studio with a particular engineer slated to work in it. I met the owner and very soon partnered up and brought in my setup, and built the tracking area downstairs. The engineer who was going to do a lot of mastering work had to leave the area for personal reasons, and the studio doesn't bring in as much as it should. We are looking for a mixing engineer or mastering engineer who can work here, but provide their own client base. There may be some projects that get handed depending on the work you do, but mostly the expectation is that someone has a client base already, but needs a place to work in. The facility has Pro Tools HD, Adam S3a mid-fields, Dynaudio Air 25 Mains with a sub, Dangerous monitoring and metering, a beautiful Sontec Mastering EQ, Pendulum ES8 compressor, Manley Vari-mu compressor, as well as Manley Pultec stereo EQ. If there is someone who thinks that we can benefit from a professional relationship with eachother, please send me a PM, and we can discuss things further. Thanks Mark |
