I'm confused about this one. Seems like it's the predecessor to Opti Drive Control. It seems to be included with recent Nero releases. Also, it seems to be available as freeware on the net. ( Nero DiscSpeed - Download - CHIP Online )

As Erik has already mentioned on his website, he was the original programmer for early versions of Plextools but he had already written the first version of CDSpeed before starting on Plextools. He moved to work for Ahead about the time that Plextools Pro came out and I guess that's when CDSpeed became part of the Nero package.

It now looks like he's back working independently again so the Opti Drive Control program looks like the latest fruits of his labours.

To the best of my knowedge, Erik, and the guy that wrote K-Probe and Plex Utilities (Karr??), are the only two people who have coded affordable error testing programs.
