are u kidding?? when u have ppl tryin to get a mix mastered (free) as a demo, u have no choice but to be honest....the question is at what point a mix is *caca de perro*?? that's a judgment call (mine)...i certainly wouldn' send poo for my ME to work on (he'll gimme sh*t 4 it) and neither would he accept poo from the internet even if he could get paid for....so some of us are concerned with qc issues............

Frst of all I love this post. Now, this is what I say: Mastering will guarantee when you play your sh*t after someone's sh*t thats released, they won't have to touch the volume knob!!!! Happy 4th.

People bake their own cakes but pay me to ice them.

I make them look pretty and taste better, sometimes I can make a really rubbish cake taste a lot nicer. I can't take out all the excess eggs/sugar/flour they put in but I can balance it out a bit.

The worst jobs are where they have burned the cake or tried to ice it themselves already... I can scrape off the burned bits or the lower quality icing, but it never tastes quite the same as a well-baked cake, iced right, first time.
