Thread Starter | mastering on lenny kravtz fly away
I read years ago that they added a flanger to that song in the mastering stages, can anyone verify? Also are there other songs with similar type effects added in mastering?

You would probably have to ask Terry Manning whether the flanging was done in the mastering or mixing stage. Usually to get it to sound right, it's done with analog tape.
