Help Wanted, Mastering Assistant/Mixer at Digital Domain

After three glorious years here as the best assistant/audio engineer/mixing engineer I have encountered in my 35-40 years, Robin Reumers has to go back to Europe for technical reasons not worth going over in this post.

So I have to find a new mastering assistant. He or she has to be musically inclined, technically inclined, detail-oriented, well-trained (though he or she will receive the best training in the industry), and willing to move to Florida instantly.

If you know someone who may be interested, please ask them to call Bob Katz at Digital Domain (407) 831-0233 immediately. Thanks.

Bob Katz 407-831-0233 DIGITAL
DOMAIN Audio CD Mastering, Mixing & Replication

Bob,

In the true fashion of shameless self promotion, I'd like to nominate myself. although we both know that a brand new assitant to the engineering world is probably not what you would need.

You may be interested in gilt(at)thresholdsound.com I've known Gil for years, and he's an excellent mastering engineer.

Thanks,

Mark danielson

Thanks, Mark, I emailed him. You should edit your post and get rid of the at sign so Gil won't get a bunch of spam.

Wow. Too bad I'm so far away and busy with my own activity to even think about proposing my name. If I had read this 3 years ago I'd probably instantly took a plane and sit in front of the studio until you take me (or call the cops)... Good luck for your search M. Katz.

I would love to apply for this position (I'm even currently in St. Pete until August), but alas, as an Englishman I suspect VISA complications would ensure I wouldn't be able to work here, sadly.

Dream job indeed!

Can't remember the last time I saw "Help Wanted" and "Mastering"
in the same line.
What an opportunity for someone to learn the craft in the old tradition.
