DRAWMER DC2476 or Powercore MD3 with other plugs

Just having a little chat over beers with a pal last night and this topic came up.

If you could only use the DRAWMER DC2476 OR the POWERCORE With MD3 / Brickwall Limitier / Dynamic EQ. Which one would you use?
etc..

I've never heard the Drawmer unit and don't really know of any ME using it except for Rick Essig. Maybe you should contact him to get his thoughts on it - R.E.M. Sound | Rick Essig Mastering

Used both pretty extensively here... THey both have their good and their bad parts. Probably would go for the Drawmer, though, for the majority of stuff.

I've used the Drawmer for several years.

It's EQ is very nice, the MB comp sounds very natural and the MB tube emulation is very useful. It's easy to use and has a great design to prevent unwanted clipping. The clock is also quite nice and stable, input clipping sounds nice too.

For me it couldn't be the only device to master tracks with. It's limiter doesn't quite work like other limiters such as Voxengo Elephant or UAD Precision Limiter.

I bought Drawmer DC2476in this week as upgrade from my TC Finalizer Plus and TC DB MAX, and I would like to say, that Drawmer is serious improvement.
Sound is really punchy, but not so harsh like on TC. Even with hard settings on input , output sounds clean and loud, but not overproduced. Also Tube simulation is fat and stereo imager is great.

I was happy user of TC DBAX and TC Finalizer for years, but now was tired from specific harsh and thin sound on every mix. I can recomend Drawmer Masterlow DC2476 for all TC users who looking for upgrade. It is better in every position.
