Low pass filter test: golden ears needed

There is an interesting thread about audibility of brick wall filtering on the Hydrogenaudio forum. Alexey (iZotope) Lukin is there too. A test is provided to find out if there are audible differences between an original 24/96 high quality music sample and two 20kHz low-pass filtered versions: one linear phase and one maximum phase.
So far no one was able to ABX the difference, which is a bit of a surprise since so many engineers claim to hear differences in filtering.
May I kindly invite you all to do the test and report your results ? It would be interesting to know under what conditions (DAC, monitoring setup) the difference can be audible.
If these filters appear to be transparent to all participants, the next step would be to investigate the influence of DAC (halfband) filters and IM distortion in the analog monitoring chain.
