I don't consider myself a math genius but I'm pretty sure that 115 17 year olds adds up to one thousand nine hundred and fifty five years, (1,955) total not 115 years.

It means you have a bunch of 17 year olds with 1 year of experience each

But what are the chances that all 17 year olds have exactly one year of experience?

The answer is nill, none, zero! Thus I have just scientifically and mathematically proven that, that joke sucked!

I have absolutely no idea who these guys are seriously. "Does anybody have any questions?" Is a David Bryne quote from Stop Making Sense.

Just having some fun as usual. At least trying to...

I'm starting to agree with him!

No more fun for me, that's my New Years resolution.

All work and no play.

Since you like to win here's another winner for you.

1 year experience = 1 year in the industry

If that's not good enough then what are the chances of 115 collective years of experience at undigitize. The answer is nill, none, zero!

Con = no phone numbers, no names, not info about the process/equipment. thumbsup

Yeah, sounds like a bunch of snake oil to me. It's really unlikely that a professionally pressed CD copied to a CD-R would sound LESS digital than the pressed CD itself.

My wife wouldn't even let me put 2" Auralex on the ceiling in our living room. Luckily I used Elmer's spray adhesive so they peeled loose very easily.

So they won't apply their process to a CD that has not been commercially released?
I guess they don't want to be known as a mastering facility. It really doesn't make sense though.

I like this quote from their site.

"The hiss, clicks, crackles, and pops from analog....no longer detract from your musical journey."

I'm sorry but I've heard more clicks crackles & pops from PC-based DAWs than any other form of recording combined. So are they saying they provide click removal from vinyl?

Another that catches me...
"How does the undigitize process work? That information is proprietary - but we can tell you that we do not use reverb and EQ, or CD copying and disc treatments, like others that have attempted our goals prior to us."

OK, anytime a company doesn't even give you a HINT of what they do is generally trying to blow smoke up your butt. I remember a super-8 to video transfer house that bad mouthed other shops saying if they don't tell you about their system, it's likely an inferior one. Yet he called his own system a well guarded secret.

"we do not use.....CD copying"

How do they get the CD copied to the black CD-R without COPYING IT?!
