pmcd 3 clicking on import

i am using pmcd 3.0 and when i import files it does two things,

1. sometimes it only plays in the left speaker. i close and quit the session and restart and sometimes it works fine.

2. when i import certain files, either through file import sound file or drag and drop, it is clicking on the transients. i double checked the files before import and they are fine. it was playing everything completely fine all day. now i can't make it stop no matter how many times i've recycled the computer.

any ideas?

So what was the reason for the 2 problems you had and what was the solution? Something with wrong with your interface that had nothng to do with PMCD?

i'm not sure exactly what the cause of the problem was, and neither was the tech, but after trashing the preferences it seemed to set everything straight. i fired it up today and there doesn't seem to be any troubles.
