Question for mastering engineer, what is the best way to deliver master??

hey yall. I'm doing a little indie project on a Tascam 388, 8 channel 1/4in machine (we want it to sound lofi, will end up on 7" record). Just wondering how you think a better way to deliver the master to the mastering engineer would be.
A) 388 LR ----> Wunder Pa 4 direct in -----> PT Mbox 1
B) 388 LR ----> PT Mbox 1
C) 388 LR ----> Wunder PA 4 direct in -----> Sound Devices 744T
D 388 LR ----> Sound Devices 744T line in

It seems to me choice D is best. 744T has better converters that the mbox. If I record the sound devices at say 24b/48k BWF I could import into protools without using conversion (RIGHT??) Do a lil editing and then that PT file goes to my mastering engineer where he can do final conversion on an HD rig.
What do ya say??
I'm tempted on getting a 1/4 two track and just saying screw the hold digital step too
A/A/A

Why not bring the machine to the session and transfer them with your engineer?
