Mytek 96DA headphone output

No stores in my hometown stock Mytek and the nearest place that does is over 2000km's away or about 1243 miles for those who use miles. (i never did understand why it was the US that kept the imperical system)

Anyhow, the last time I was there I had a chance to compare the mytek DA with the Lavry. They no longer stock lavry so I am going to purchase the mytek.

Unfortunately I didn't think to listen to the headphone output. The reason I ask is because I wanted to use it for multiple purposes and some this will require headphones.

Can anyone give feedback on the headphone output. I am familiar with the Benchmark DAC headphone output so comparisons with that could help.

I use the Mytek 8x192 and the headphone output is clean and can get quite loud. Can't give any comparison to the Benchmark though.

There is an A/B comparison of headphone amp with Bmrk DAC1 on our website here: MYTEK DIGITAL USA

We spent some time on choosing the best circuit for the amp and it's the same circuit in Stereo96dac and 8X192ADDA.

i've just ordered a mytek 96 stereo dac from the european web store..
i'll compare the built-in headphone amp with my dedicated
headphone amp ( Lake People G99/2) and i'll post some impressions.
