Thread Starter | CD Architect - Dither - Backups - HELP!
I've been working on a project for some time . . . then my hard drive crashed. Everything was backed up except for the Pro Tools mastering sessions. Now, I can either take the mixes and remaster . . . OR . . . use a 16-bit CD of the masters *SANS FADES* to import into CD Architect. I could then do the fades . . . BUT . . . would I need to dither again? I'd think no, but then the fades are processing. Shouldn't those require dither (after all, I would be reducing bits on those). Answers? Opinions? Thanks, dj |
