You CAN polish turds!

You guys are going to have to come up with a new saying because the Mythbusters proved that you CAN polish turds.

Anyone else see that episode? They also proved that it's easier to polish carnivore turds as opposed to vegetarian turds.

You can't polish a turd with digital mastering, it has to be totally anal-log

Well the original saying was actually "You can't polish a turd and call it gold", and this is still true. Polished turds are still turds (although perhaps shiny).
