Opinions Needed on EQ Decision

Hello,

I recently sold my GML 8200 mainly because I wasn't happy with the mid to high end (little too cold). An IBIS was purchased and now I feel it's a little too soft in conjunction with my Manley Vari MU. I miss the tight sound of the GML. Can I please have some thoughts on an "8200 Like" EQ under $2500 to add my chain? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

A used Sontec MEP250 would fit the description - it's ergonomically the same as a GML 8200 with similar tight bottom end but with to my ear a much sweeter high end. fwiw - I got my used MEP250EX for $1850.
