Is the Dangerous D-Box DA Good enough for mastering

I need another DA For my mastering studio to monitor from, i use a Lynx L22 and was using a Lucid da96 for monitoring it died and needs to be replaced , the d-box looks great at offering monitoring and possible summing options for stems as well as a DA,
I am interested in opinions on this DA for monitoring in the mastering studio
does it cut it,

thanks

We use the Dangerous Master transfer console, and it's a really fantastic piece of kit. I would be surprised if the D-Box's converters wasn't better than the Lucid, I'd be surprised to see Mr. Muth selling anything that wasn't great.

it had a great review in tapeop a few months ago, specifically mentioning how fantastic the DA was.

The issue fetured Ryan Hewitt, can't remember the issue number

^ so did you end up getting it? If so how you like it?

Any other slutz wanna chime in?

I'm thinking about getting one for monitoring purposes...

How does their D/A stack up against the other big dawgs?

I use the D Box's big brother the Monitor in my mastering set up. The D/A in that thing is AMAZING. In the league of Lavry and Prism, IMO. I'm sure the D Box is very close if not the same.

Just picked up my D-Box last week and I must say, this is a very handy and amazing sounding box. I would say YES the DAC is good for mastering.

i have had it for a month now and must say it is a more musical DA than the Lynx, but has real transparency .
The volume is not stepped which kind of sucks but i am using an spl meter and trying keep things the same everyday.
the unit is well made and the switches are near silent on most material, and i have both lynx digital outs feeding the 2 digital ins on the DBOX and i switch between source and the master or switching between and 2 different sources for in different situations and this seem very useful

AND i have not summed with it yet,
but wish there was sub out.
