HELP with Sonic Solutions

I need someone who knows Sonic SOlutions mastering and preferably multitracking, too. My hard drive on the Quadra 900 that was running the system crashed with took all the installed, tweaked software on it - no back up and it has nu-verb as well, ad some compression algorithyms that blow the roof off the place. Altogether it is a killer mastering setup, neding just a perfect room and dog eares.

I have an almost new PowerMac 9600 and there are nubus convertors I've seen that convert nubus slots to PCI. Does anyone know if they work on the PowerMac 9600? Also, is there anyone who can rescue data from the sonic drive that crashed the Quadra? I guess I need someone who can help me get the thing running who is here in LA (can't bear A.I.D., the only Sonic game in town for years).

Taking recomendations from everyone. I'm desperate to get the show on the road and this is a road block to CBS/Paramount deals and a bunch of others. It's midsummer and show time in LA! (Don't want to hve to sell any more STephen Paul mics! Thanks, Brian

Drive Savers 800 440 1904. If you need to send it to them I'm a reseller so I could get you 10% off the recovery. (excuse the gratuitous self promotion) I've never had them fail to recover a drive.

I don't believe the Sonic cards will work with the converter kits. I haven't used my classic system since I went to SoundBlade but I still have it and I believe there's a backup 7100-80 in storage somewhere if you need another compatible nubus machine to get you by. The original still works. Oliver at Sonic could certainly answer your question. omas@sonicstudio.com

Good Luck!
