Gateway...thanks alot

I just spent a day with Adam Ayan at Gateway. What a classy joint.... a real treat!

I've been to few mastering studios in Boston over the years and always learned something, but this Gateway experience has focussed something for me which is both exhilerating and depressing.

Monitoring.

My girl friend predicted that after my session I'd just want to go buy something.
I really thought, 'naw not this time'.

She was right, I'm shopping for subs and considering more control room modification.

I heard some serious low end info that was 'not so obvious' in my room.
Now the bar has been raised, or has the floor been lowered, either way I'm spending money.
Not really any other suprises though, so I take a bit of comfort in that.

Girlfriends predict. Wives object. Remember that.

Glad it was a good experience for ya'.
