| ALESIS MASTERLINK LEVELS TO HOT i just got a masterlink 9600 version 2 software, and when i play a cd analog out into my +4 console, it slams the meters, is there any way to adjust the output levels thanks |

| Welcome to the loudness wars! Actually what you are seeing is a CD that is mastered "to loud" and what it does to your meters when you are correctly gain staging. My quick and dirty fix is to use the -10db outs of my Masterlink. Otherrwise you're probably overloading the line inputs. |
