Thread Starter | audio cd AND data Hello my dear mastering friends! never did this before: customer needs an audio cd and wants to add a data file in the end. what is prefferable: enhanced cd or mixed mode? and in which program can i add isrc and ean codes now? toast doesnt do it. peak, my burning and coding program, doesnt support "unnormal" cds. urgent request, help!!! many greetings! |

| Hi Cemski, how are you? The way to do this, is to start writing the audio partition with isrc's in Peak (or Jam as i used to do) and leave the session OPEN. I don't know how Peak calls this but it's an option where you don't finish the disc so another session can be written later on. Yeah, it's probably called something like"write session" ? Keep the disc in your burner and write the data partition with Toast like you're used to, choosing disc at once to finish/close the disc when ready. The reason to start with audio, is to make sure that players immediately recognize it and don't freak out on the data. Good luck! regards, Peter |

Thread Starter | many thanx for your fast help! ![]() unfortunately i dont have peak pro (which supports "session burning") or toast8. but at least i understand my problem no exactly. and the pressing plant charges only 30€ for entering the codes, so... problem solved in a way ![]() all the best! cem |
