maybe you should ask the video editors who send me audio for post for tips on how to pass more than 0 dbfs eehe ... you know,those chunky solid blocks of waveform rocks of pure digital distortion... where somehow they are able to go to 3-6 db (with intersample peaks of course...)... scary stuff.. mindblowing really....

it's hell out there...

I mastered this guys cd that lives in my town. The whole thing had been limited to death and that was all he had. Well he came back and said his version seemed to have more mids, I was like "I dont think so"
So he came over and what it was , was his was so limited it made it louder
So instead of him turning it up 2 db with the volume knob , he made me limit it more to make it seem louder. Not to mention the -6 rms

Yea we get those guys to. Oh well keeps the job interesting.
