Which ada converters would be best for my setup?

I have a finalizer 96k (which from what I read has really good converters) and a L2 maximizer hardware version. It will be at the end of my Alan smart c2 compressor,Avalon 2055,and tubetech LCA 2b mastering chain. Are these conveters up to the level of the gear or do I need s stand alone like an apogee something or other. Would I even be able to tell the difference? I don't want all this great gear compromised at the end of the chain bit at the same time, I don't want to spend if not necessary unless it would make a difference.
thanks

I would recommend the Benchmark ADC-1 or DAC-1 (depending on A/D or D/A). They sound incredible for the price. Aside from that, you might notice a sonic difference with a lavry or prism, but I'm not sure its worth all that money for you. I worked in a studio with an Apogee and I honestly like the Benchmarks better.

Thanks for the input Kyung Pang. I just bought a apogee rosetta 200 on ebay because the price was right and I read some pretty good things about it.

Hi
Im going to buy the maxxbcl, but there is one thing I need to know. Earlier MaxxBCL units had Jensen transformers installed both on the input and output analog paths. As of August 2006 the MaxxBCL is built with Waves output transformers and as of July 2007 with Waves input transformers as well. Are they sounding the same or better???

+ another happy Lavry convert.

The only annoying thing is that is says volume on the level knob. The volume of my room is still the same, it's the pressure level that changes! And that's about the only bad thing I can find, given its price range. :-)

Hi,
try Hedd, a great converter with a very good processing section that can be really useful.
