Plextor.

Just received the Plextor PX-755UR and plextools pro.
What a great drive is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah the 716 and 755 drives are the best that Plextor has. There are several companies that recommend the 755 for their turn-key DAW's.

And now i can see and have a proof that the gold discs are very solid, i knew it aaaall the time .
Even my first 1992 Tayo Yuden CD-R (abused a lot) has low C1 and some C2, no CU.
Conclusion is that CD-R is the best archival medium there is for "old inferieur" 16bits audio and 24/32bits cd-rom files.
1000000000% shure.
I do not know about DVD yet..........
