Thread Starter | I now know the meaning of head room Not only do i get the hang of compression, but i execute a well compressed vocal track, no pumping and or squashing, very subtle, but then i execute similar tactics with drums, i get giddy however forget to leave head room for the rest of the mix, and then i realized i didnt compress the drums solo, but only the master. No questions on hand except, has anyone went in over the head or made a small laughable mistake like mine in the beginning stages of tinkering with mixing and mastering, i hope im not alone lol. |
