M-Audio BX8 Vs KRK Rockit RP-8

Hi All,

First of all I am producing house, electro and trance. I currently have the old school passive Tannoy Reveal 5 monitors and a M-audio firewire audiophile sound card.

Now I am currently looking to upgrade to slightly better monitors. I am tossing up between the M-audio BX8 and the KRK Rockit Rp-8.

I know alot about the M-audio BX8s as my friend has a pair. What I can gather is they have a slightly brighter sound however other than that they are pretty good for the price.

My question is what are the KRK Rockit RP-8's like? Especially when compared to the M-audio BX8s.

All help is appreciated

Cheers

Karv

All KRK's that I've heard have been excellent monitors. I seriously doubt the M-Audios could compete. That said, I haven't actually heard the M-Audios you're talking about. But KRK and Genelec are easily the best deal on monitors (especially small ones) out there.

I really like my RP-8's. Cant really comment on the M-Audio monitors though.
