Thread Starter | Electric piano noise I have searched this forum with no good luck. My friend has a Roland VK-8 electric organ. It has some other instruments as well including a piano sound. I recorded this piano sound and it did sound fine, but there is actually this horrid noise in 748hz.
I end up removing that frequency nearly completely and wasting one of my Cubase LE EQs (4 of them total, without plugins). The freq. is totally unrelated (irrevelant) to the tone of harmonic content of the instrument. o I know I can use EQ plugins that aren't as limited, but; a way around that? o |

| Bounce it to another track with the filter applied. Then you get a full EQ again. As to the sound - I'm guessing it's in the sample or the way it got edited by Roland - they're ususally better than that..... Did you notice it while recording? -tINY |

I did not think of bouncing tracks. I'll go read up on it. No, I did not notice it until I was fiddling with the compressor. It brought it up and I had to dip 748hz a lot at that point. Thanks bud. |
