To all with central station

Need somthing like the central to my lynx a card. But i read d/a converters I don't need that i need a clean signal path no clolor.

Does mackie big knob have color or more noise? Just now i don't think i can afford cranesong and to be honest it is not needed for work.

Another option is SPL, they have some interesting well made monitoring units.

If all you need is a volume knob, they also have simple (tho not really cheap ) volume knob units.

You do not have to use the da converters on the central station and I can assure you that the signal path is very clean. They give that option to people who may not have good da converters. I have used a central station for the past year and don't know what I would do without it. I complete love the unit and the options it gives me for monitoring.

They are good units. I think the early ones had issues with the power supply which caused a lot of negative feedback. I've tried the BK, M-patch, and the SPL. I liked the central station the best for the money. To be honest I never even tried the da converters in it. But it does what it does very cleanly and is the only rack mountable unit that is less money than the coleman.
