A&H GL3 mod idea.

I'm going to have my AH GL3 24x4 taken apart and cleaned and something fixed on it soon enough....i was wondering if, although the channels don't provide modular access from the outside, if they were seperate on the inside....

MEANING, could i have the guy leave a pair of channels out and then try my hand at modding them perhaps???

would it be worth it? anyone think a few mods might make the preamp better? maybe make the insert POST eq? i won't mind having two channels missing out of it as i never use all 24 preamps, let alone all 24 channels at once...

whatcha think?
