Switch cleaner

Does switch cleaner go out of date? I.E become unusable, I have a can of servisol super 10 here and on the bottom its got a date which reads the 12th of May 2008. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum

I don't think "expiration dates" are a hard fast rule. I know many commercial companied dispose of out of date chemicals promptly, but I doubt it self destructs or anything.

Have you tried it? It should still be viable.

I wouldn't worry about it.

No, not tried it yet, got an old poltava russian wah pedal here that crackles like mad when the fuzz is switched on.
