Is this device stable yet? Or has everyone returned theirs?

well drivers work fine for me and I just upgraded from the 24D to the Studio 48... I think TC has got something very cool with the studio 48 and all would agree the driver issue got the Konnekt off to a rough start... I am still exploring the possibilities but am very happy with the quality upgrade and extras... Not trying to sell TC to anyone listen for yourself...

konnekt 24d headphone output

Hi everyone. I am new here so please excuse me if i am posting in the wrong threat.
My problem with the 24d is that i am getting very low quality audio from the headphone outputs, way bellow then the output of my mac book pro, rme digi 96 pst and my 6-7 years old 8 channel beringer.
My sax sounds good but hearing a hole mix or song from itunes it sounds terrible. Muddy bass, harsh mid's and high's...wow! I haven't tested it with my speakers yet. To be fair, the fabrik r and fabrik c are fricking good but i want that great sound everyone talks about.

Is there a way to fix this? Am i doing something wrong? Please help. Thanks

Sounds like a defective unit. Is the sound from the headphones different from that coming out of the main outs ?

Try over at the TC forum...

Here on this thread, someone undergraded SX to 3.0 and solved the crackled issues.

Aim on Sonar 6PE and with the K24D. All works well and sounds great, but I seem to get better performance with the Asio4all driver with 128 sample at 6.3ms for playback, then the recent TC driver update. TC´s new update has made ALOT of fixes, much better overall. I just use Asio4all because I can get a lower sample count.

You can still use the TCNear control panel with Asio4all, just remember to change settings in TCNear to use WDM I/O´s. Asio4all works as WDM.

Best,

Mike

Headphone port on my Konnect 24D

Was wondering if anyone knows an alternative way to monitor through my headphones and speakers without constantly taking the headphone jack in/out on the TC Electronic 24D. My headphone port is not functioning properly from the constant wear and tear?
Thanks
