very low end microphone

here's a quick question, just want a few quick responses...

after an enormous month of spending getting the new studio gear together, i would like to satisfy both myself and my wallet by spending NEXT TO NOTHING on a gooseneck or similar type microphone for plugging directly into my talkback input on my a&h board...

i was hoping to search radio shack and find a 6 dollar special...but nothing...

honestly, it's in my heart that i want to spend absolutely nothing on this

Have a search on e-bay, I'm sure you can find something like that on there. Next to that Canford Audio in the UK do some or maplin etc.

Regards

well i searched ebay...and found one, NIB from some DJ gear place for 11.95 so i bought it...

then in the payment process..the guy had the stones to charge 8.84 for shipping w/o insurance!!!

this will be quite the thing to stand around bitching about to the owner of the company while he's goons are loading up 2k's worth of 703 next week....

Do a Google search for "Karma Microphones" and check out their "mini".

$5 certainly makes me hollar.

Now you're gonna have to run your cheap mic through a $2000 tube compressor to smooth out the sound so your clients don't get annoyed when you talk.
