Thread Starter | channel strip/mic pre advice needed
Just received a TLM103 and am seeking opinions on which channel strip/mic pre might be best suited to use with the 103 for recording vocals (mainly Country, alt Country). I wish to keep the cost of the strip/pre under $1000.00 and closer to $500 if possible. I've heard good reviews of the Safe Sound P1, would prefer a "name", but need good limiting, transparancy..and/or maybe a little tube "warmth. suggestions?? |

I use a TLM103 with a focusrite twin trak pro and have had pretty decent results........Definitely superior to the stock 002R pres.......I am however looking to add a more pricey preamp to the mix....pun intendedthumbsup
