Mic recommendations what to get next?

Hey people!

I would like to hear your opinions and reasoning what mic to get next. Also, I would like to hear two recommendations first on a mic with a budget of 1) 400€ and then a recommendation on a 2) 700-800€ mic. Most likely I will get a 400€ mic but if I can get more budget then I will go for a more high end 700-800€ mic.

I have a basic PC based home studio setup with Steinberg's MR816x soundcard. My line is mic -> Steinberg -> PC software(n- track studio). Nothing more fancy.

These are the mics I currently have:
Akg c 1000
Akg 214
Akg 4000
Akg 112
Audix D6
Beyerdynamic M160 (- I am thinking about selling this one because I don't have much use for it. Doesn't really sound great to my ears.)
Beyerdynamic mc930 stereo pair
Beyerdynamic M88
Beyerdynamic M201
Shure Sm57
Sennheiser md421

Thank you for your time.

What kind of recording are you doing? If you record drums, I'd say look into some Sennheiser e604s for the rack toms

I'd say you're pretty set with mics if you pick up one or two of the e604s. How is the d6 working for you? I have it, but it's doesn't work out well with inconsistent drummers

I actually like the D6 a lot. Doesn't require much eq although sometimes I've had to spent time with it it to get it to sound good on the mix. It's a good bass drum mic and I don't think I would replace it anytime soon.

I think I have the drum mics that I need and maybe I should get a condenser for electric/acoustic guitar. I have an orange AD30TC and I find it ery hard to get it to sound good. No mic that I have seems to capture the sound of it well.

Well I don`t know if you can`t get a sound from amp with 421s...
As for me it depends on how you positioning mic itself. Actually i bielive that almost every good mic can capture amp sound nice

Flammable. Looks like you have a very good collection of mics. I think what you are missing now would be a good Tube Mic and maybe another version of a ribbon mic.

For Tube Mics you could look at
Peluso, ADK, MXL, Audio Technica, and SE. All these companies make tube mics in the mid range that sound great.

For Ribbons you could look at
Royer, Peluso, Coles, and others. All very good. For recording the Orange the royer R121 is one of my favorites.

I've been thinking about getting the Audio Technica 4045. It seems to be a good mic and it has the figure eight pattern which I don't have with any mics I use.

I might like to go with a tube microphone but it seems they are quite expensive(over 1000€ to get a good one).

I will be using my new microphone mainly for vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar and propably as a drum overhead. Are there good tube mics under 1000€ for these purposes?

You said that you are doing basic pop and rock music, but haven't said why you "NEED" another Mic? Looking at your collection, it seems extensive enough to handle many duties. Are you being a SLUTZ and just want to collect more mics or is there something you think you are missing or a sound you don't think you are able to achieve with your current collection?
