Using Phantom power on one input and a TRS balanced cable on the other

I'll try and contact Echo Monday via support ticket. I just got the Gina3G
It has 2 mic input XLR/trs combo input jacks. Phantom power is selected in the Echo Control panel in the computer. My question is can I use Phantom power XLR
for a Condenser mic on one input and have a balanced TRS cable coming from my Gap
Pre-73's on the other input? I am talking about the inputs on the Gina's break-out box. Rational, well my GA Pre-73 is mono. My monitor mixer is an old crusty
original 1202 and I prefer not to use it's pre's and direct outs. I would like to run 2 Condenser mics at the same time. I want to do the full mod for the GAP
before buying another, so I am trying to cut corners as best as I can.
If I can use both the Pre-73 and the Gina at the same time for stereo condenser
setup fine. If not I'll have to check out the Gina's pre's. Last option is to hook up with my friend nearby that has the same GAP Pre-73, but that involves
working around our schedules. Thanks for any feedback or info

well I missed this one in the manual, feel like a dummy
....."Layla3G and Gina3G provide 48 volts of phantom power for microphones that
require it. To enable phantom power for Layla3G, press the button labeled +48v
(the LED next to it will light up) and phantom power will be provided to all
microphone inputs. Gina3G has a switch in the console software for this purpose.
Note: Phantom power will not be applied to any line level equipment or
guitars plugged in using cables with ¼” connectors.."

No auto sensing though

You're not likely to get a balanced stereo pair from using one GAP and one interface pre. If that matters to you - get 2 preamps the same.
