Interface purchase
I have an M box pro with pro tools 10 and studio one 2 pro plus much much much more.

I have a Neumann tlm 49 mic.

Question, should I go for a avalon preamp first or a RME fireface 800 interface first?

Are those good options?

I shop at American musical or zzsounds so let me know. Possible send me some links.

I don't think you can use a fireface with pro tools, and as far as driver stability the mbox 3 pro is right up there with the fireface, there was actually a thread on here breaking all that down. I would probably spend money on a preamp first before trying to upgrade the interface if I were you.

You can use any coreaudio or asio device with pt10.
