Anyone know which KRK monitors are used on Pensado's Place "Into the Lair"

Looks like one of the older KRK Expose models. KRK has a lot of great products, but the success of the Rokit series has made some people associate their brand with low-end products. The VXT series has some love though, and I liked the old V6s that I had for a while. The Expose line is their priciest; I've never heard them.

They're the KRK Expose E8T's - The old version of the current E8B's.

Can't say I've had any experience with them though, sorry I can't offer any more insight.

If you look at his set up though and see where the height is to his ear you can tell that there most likely used for bass/low end.

I watched a video of a Trey Songz studio session where the engineer had KRK monitors too, but I'm pretty sure they're VXT8's. I have Equator D5's, and want more bass, and I have a friend(who doesn't know jack about gear or recording) telling me to get Rokit 8's because another one of our friends has e. m.. and he pulled the "a lot of good studios use em in their videos" card. That's what sparked my interest in the first place. Sounded like BS to me, looks like I was right. I'll probably end up gettin a sub or saving for HS80m's. Feel free to post links to other visa using KRK's or Rokit series in major setups if you find em.

I used to have the old v8s. they were great! Dont like the vxts so much.
