Guerilla Recording Kit

Hi folks, thinking about putting together a small remote rig without breaking the bank to tape jam sessions on the fly around town!

I need your advice on how best to do so.

Either Akai EIE pro or Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 interface
(with Symetrix sx202 pre which I already have to push the track count up to four)

I already have sm57, sm58, some akg dynamics, some audio technica condensers but what would be YOUR top 4 low end mics to record anything anywhere??

Thanks for the advice in advance!

BTW, I have an Onyx console at home for recording 12 channels at once, i'M looking for a backpack recording kit with my MBP. I do not require digital connexions on my interface.
