| Yamaha thr question
I'm looking at buying a yamaha thr 10. I want to record with it. my set up at the moment is a quad capture interface for vocals and acoustic guitar, and the boss br800 for electric and bass. My boss doesn't connect to my interface as the outputs are rca, so when I want to play an electric guitar part or bass part I have to set up my daw to output to the br800 and I record and listen to my headphones. Then I setup my daw to output to my quad captur when I'm going to do a vocal or acoustic or even mix as my quad capture outputs to my monitors. I don't mind doing this but I was just wondering if the thr works the same way? Is it just a case of installing the drivers on my pc and connecting the yamaha, and setting my daw to output to the yamaha and doing the same as I do now. I don't want to monitor directly in case it puts a strain on my pc.
