BR800 rca outputs to interface inputs...
Hi all, I have a boss br800 which I have been using as an interface but I was thinking of getting a roland quad capture as my interface, I was just wondering if I could use the rca outputs of the br800 with rca to xlr leads, to record the output of the br800 into the interface.... or should I just stick with br800 as an interface. I really only use the br800 to record electric guitar because of the COSM effects. I'm upgrading at the moment and have my eye on an FMR rnp and a FMR pbc, can I route these through my br800 and bypass the preamp? I really don't want to waste any money on an interface if I don't need to upgrade? I'm not sure the A/D conveters in the br800 are up to scratch...

Drag the files into the puter and convert to wave using the converter
on roland web site.

unless you really want to convert the files back to analog then back to digital
which is what you would be doing if you run out of the analogue rca outs.
And you like doing it many times to get each track into a DAW.
