optical flap *snigger* on pro40

Does anyone have any tips on how i might go about repairing the flap on the optical input on my saffire pro40? Still works great but without the plastic cover/flap, the cable doesn't stay in too well.

I have the same problem, love using the 8 ins over adat but now its a myth as the connector keeps falling out. Im crudely gonna put a little blue tack around the outside of the output for now if taking the input one doesnt work (im sure it wont and ill end up buggering both) as i cant really see focusrite sending me a tiny plastic flap.
So frustrating.
