8 Output USB Interface Suggestions

8 Output USB Interface Suggestions
Hi,

It's time for a new audio interface for my home project studio. The only must-have feature I require is 8 analogue outs. Low latency is always desired. On the table are:

Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL
MOTU Ultralite MKIII Hybrid

Any suggestions?

Roland Octa-Capture (the one I have)
Focusrite Saffire Pro 26
Focusrite Scarlett 18i6

All good stuff, the Saffire is Firewire, the other 2 are USB.

The Presonus and the Motu would both work well. Also, Steinberg UR824 and the M-Audio Fastrack Ultra 8R. From what I have tested, the Steinberg should have the lowest latency, but is by far the priciest of the bunch. The M-Audio should be pretty close in performance to the MOTU and the Presonus.

I would stay away from the Focusrite for low latency. The last time I checked one of their USB interfaces, it was amongst the worst out there for low latency.
