Any M One Xl users for reverb? Comments?

A while a go I had an M One XL that I used for reverb on various sources. Lately, I have been missing it. I have a Lexicon PCM91, yet I still miss that TC unit.

Anyone else have any comments on the reverbs on that unit. Is it possible that this unit has just been underrated?

THANKS,
AB

I sold mine and never regretted it. It's "okay" but nothing fantastic. For recording purposes nothing can touch my UAD Plate 140. And for live use, I actually prefer the reverb that is built into my mixwiz, if you can believe that. The M One XL is decent, but come on...

It really could be a case of bad memory. I appreciate your comment.

if you really are in need, they can be found used for relatively cheap. but you have a PCM91 now...

I need another reverb unit. I will take the M One off the list and read some more threads. Perhaps something with good echo/delay as well would be wise.
THANKS.

alot of people here are loving the Rumour. i've never used one though so i can't comment. I made the switch to a UAD-1 for recording effects and i'm loving it. maybe you could consider a plugin option?

I'd suggest the Rumour over the M-One XL. There's a lot more variety in the Rumour, whereas the M-One has basically one sound to it. Not a bad sound, but the Rumour is better in my opinion.
