Looking for Cheap and versatile Effects Processor

I want a cheap and versatile effects processor to run on my sends from my mixing board. 12 bit and lofi is completely acceptable. I have a couple pedals that I use for their sound quality, so this needs to be something that is interesting sounding in a bunch of different ways. I'd really like it to be about $100 maximum. I know of the Alesis boxes, which one of those is best bang for your buck? What else should I look into?

I kind of figured it was obvious I was asking for a box, not software. But I'll be more explicit here. I do not use a computer for music so software is meaningless to me.
