audio interface recommendations?

Any recommendations for a low end Audio Interface for a 2 person recording gig. What I would:

USB atleast 3 XLR (For 2 XLR shure 57, and 1 XLR MXL 990) atleast one phantom XLR of the 3 for the MXL 990 a couple master outs for Studio monitors 1/4" preferred At least 1 DI for guitar At least a couple audio outs (for hardware sends) At least a couple audio ins (for hadware receives) zero latency monitoring preferred...

That looks awesome, would I be out of line asking if there was something a little less expensive? I was looking at the line 6 pod ux2 but, the jacks on it looked a little strange, only one stereo monitor output?

no such thing as Zero latency monitoring. Low latency yes.
On your specs I would get a Mackie Oynx 820i 3xlr , firewire 8 in 2 out, main outs, studio outs. 8 channel mixer with eqs, aux send and returns. Headphone out , talkback blah blah . I am about to be selling one for $250 which is the price you should be able to find one for. Sounds great in the AD/DA department.

I am going upstream for more ins and outs.

This all looks alright, I'm just trying to find a fairly basic audio interface I can lug around with some gear and a laptop I can run through reaper.

I recently bought an Akai eie pro to use on a remote. It is a 4 channel box, phantom on all, and I got it at a pretty reasonable price for an entry level piece from B&H. As it worked out, the remote has been postponed so I'm not sure about performance beyond my original testing when I first set it up. And it is kinda substantial. But it seems pretty simple, straightforward, and solid.
