RMEFf800 and babyface help!

I've run into quite a predicament. I just found out that you can't use the Fireface 800 and the RME Babyface simultaneously… There's something conflicting with the drivers and now I'm beating myself up for buying a Babyface. I have 8 external preamps that I want to record at 192 kHz/sec. I originally thought that I could do this, but much to my dismay conflicting drivers are going to be the death of me. I am using a PC, is there any workarounds or any similar products that are USB/adat powered which I could swap out the Fireface 800 for?

Please advise ASAP! Such a headache.

How many recording inputs do you need at one time? Or do you just want to use 192kHz?

In my opinion, 192khz does nothnig but wate disk space and waste resources.
Stop drinking the 192 sample rate koolaid. You can quench your thirst with tap water, just the same

8-10 inputs are required. Same # of outputs too.

You can't use more than one ASIO driver on a PC. You could get a second Fireface (which would share the driver) - but why on earth do you want to run at 192kHz? I'd run at a more sensible sample rate and just add one or two ADAT expanders - the Behringer ADA8000 is fine for the money, but better is available.

This said, the FF800 does have 10 line inputs on its own - and 10 outputs if you utilise the headphone output...

Set up the FF800 for standalone converter operation, and use the Babyface as the sound card. The FF800 connects to the Babyface via ADAT. This gives you 10 in + 10 out + phones out at 44.1k or 48k.
