My reference to bad luck was in regards to issues with stability! As i said, for me it has been brilliant and rock solid. I read the link you posted, i am not sure if the translation was entirely accurate, but i have to say that i certainly wouldn't stop using it based on this
in fact the guy even states at the very end after trashing the LM, i quote, 'This does not mean that you can not find a beautiful sound of the infinite adjustment of the LM, but it is only very likely to do so out of pure luck and not for rational choices, and that would be enough to turn an encoder only one step away to much.' mmm.....maybe i have been lucky after all
he also states that he used a 'VST plug in analyser', no calibrated hardware spectrum analyser, thats interesting? I use my ears, i don't mix by numbers, if it sounds good, use it i say!
Ps I can't find anywhere written, where Focusrite state they stopped production of the LM because of the EQ problems and Sintefex? What i did notice was that a lot of these bugs were resolved with the last update addressing issues with LF EQ curves and filtering. Did you ever make it to V3.0?
