Saffire Pro 40 question

Hi there and thanks in advance.

Recently I noticed that the Monitor pot in my Pro 40 is linked to both headphones outputs. I mean, if the monitor pot is way down to 0, nothing comes out from my headphones. The problem is that I have to turn the monitors off when recording ¡¡¡
I have the Pro 40 a full year now, and seems to me that this is new. Nothing in the manual about this, so I tried to figured it out with the MixControl SW, but nothing...
Is this the way it is supposed to work?
Thanks and regards.
Martin

No, that's something you can turn on and off with the mixcontrol. Can't remember how though... something to do with the buttons on the right maybe?

Best of luck.

There are boxes in the mixcontrol software labeled 1-10 i believe, those boxes are either red, bright blue, or a dimmer blue color. I'm pretty sure you can click them to cycle through the colors. You may have to use a modifier key (control, command or something) and click to make them the dimmer blue, which is what you want. Red turns them off I think and bright blue is linked to the monitor volume control. Line out 7-8 are headphones 1 and 9-10 are headphones 2.

AldenW, Kingsofsleep, you were both right, thanks. It is managed thru the MixControl (the modifier is "shift", by the way..)

Thanks a lot ¡
Best regards,

Martin
