Hey everyone,
I know this will sound like a plug for this guy but believe me I don't know him I just sent him my mic for modifying.
So, I bought a Rode NT2-A for $230 off eBay. I always heard good things about the NT2-A and at $230 that was a great price. When I received the mic I was impressed with it - it sounded pretty decent. About a week later I was combing through eBay and saw this guys auction for mod modifying for $80. Since I got the Rode so cheap I thought why not!? So I did it and I have to say I have a REALLY nice mic now! What I noticed the most was the esses are very tight, hardly any sibilance that needs treated. The mids and lows were tighter and a warmer low end - the mic was very well balanced now. In fact, I just did some vocals and I didn't need to put any EQ on it at all. So needless to say I was impressed and the $80 was well worth it!
So here I am just letting my fellow Slutz know about this guy if you don't already. Here is his web site if you'd like to check him out. Again, I really don't know this guy but if he can get some extra work out of me giving him prompts then great.
