ART TPSII vs us2000 mic pres

ART TPSII vs us2000 mic pres
I recently got into recording my band. We have a tascam us-2000. I was thinking of getting a mic pre for it but kind of have a not so great budget. I was looking at the ART TPS II and see good and bad reviews for it. I was just wondering is anyone could compare the 2 for me. Is it worth getting to upgrade the quality of the vocals or does the us-200 pre's have pre's about the same quality.

I was reading that if a pre is half the price of you interface than its will most likely be better. I am just not sure of i will have a good trade off of price versus better quality of the us-2000
