KRK rokit 6. unpowered?

i found a set of krk rokit's in the want ads for really cheap (100 a pair). these are an older, unpowered version of the rokits. i believe they are 6". does anybody have any experience with these? would they be worth the investment?

I don't think there ever were any unpowered rockit series.

There are ST6 monitors that run about $200-300 per pair. These are the best passive nearfields I have found for less than $1000 per pair.
