Rnc blown? Fixable?

I recently purchased an rnc (used) and I think I fried it with an alesis parametric eq (i was experimenting with the signal chain) now it applies distotion along with compression. Any ideas on how to fix this? Is it possible to swap out some components on this device? And what components are the likely culprits?

Contact FMR, the manufacturer, they are extremely fair and helpful.

Yeah +1 to that.

Call Mark down in TX and tell him your deal. The are borderline crazy when it comes to helping people out and keeping their gear running.

Never worked with someone more willing to help.

I have the same problem after cutting on phantom power on my preamp. I unplugged the unit for about 5 or 6 hours and then plugged it back in and it was working fine. Then a few hours later, more distortion in my signal. I can't figure it out.
